Vidia

Terms of purchase

Version v3, in force since 27 September 2026.

These terms govern the purchase of videos and gift cards on vidiaapp.com. Please read them before you buy, because by placing an order you accept them. You can save or print them from your browser, and we send you a summary of them in the confirmation email for each order.

1. Who is selling

Vidia is the trading name under which its owner sells. The owner's name, NIF (Spanish tax number), address, email and telephone number are shown at the end of these terms.

The contract is concluded in Spanish.

2. What you are buying

You are buying digital content made to order. From the photo you upload, we use artificial intelligence to create a video with the effect, length, format and quality level you choose on the effect page.

  • Essential level. A 4 or 8 second video in 720p.
  • HD level. An 8 second video in 1080p.
  • Packs. Several videos from the same photo, as described in each pack.
  • Format. Vertical for phones and social media, or horizontal for screens and the web.
  • File. MP4 with sound, with no copy protection, which plays on any current phone, computer or social network.
  • Preview. Before downloading it, you can watch the whole video in a preview with the Vidia logo on top. The file you download does not have it. The preview is for seeing the result and cannot be downloaded.

Each video is a recreation generated by artificial intelligence. The result varies from one photo to another, may differ in details from the original photo and we do not guarantee an exact likeness. The examples on each effect page show the kind of result you can expect. All videos carry an invisible watermark and metadata indicating that they were generated with AI, as required by the European Artificial Intelligence Act. You can find more information on the Artificial intelligence page.

3. Who can buy

  • People aged 18 or over, as consumers or for their business.
  • For now we only sell to customers with a billing address in a country of the European Union, in the United Kingdom, in Switzerland, in Norway or in the United States. If you pay with a billing address in another country, we cancel the order and refund the full amount.
  • You may only upload photos you have the rights to. If other people appear in them, they must be adults and must have given you their permission. The full rules are in Acceptable use.

4. How to place an order

  1. You choose an effect and open its page.
  2. You upload your photo. We check it straight away and, if it is not suitable, we tell you why before you pay.
  3. You choose the length, format and movement and, if you like, write instructions. The instructions are also checked before you pay.
  4. You tick the two compulsory boxes. With the first you confirm that you are an adult and that you have the right to use the photo. With the second you ask us to start creating the video as soon as you pay and you acknowledge when you lose the right of withdrawal (section 9).
  5. You go straight to payment or add the effect to the cart. On the checkout page you enter your email and billing details and choose how to pay.
  6. Before paying you see a summary with each video, its options and the total price. You can correct any detail by going back to the effect page or the cart, changing the payment fields or removing lines.
  7. The order is placed when you press the payment button, which involves an obligation to pay.
  8. We immediately send you a confirmation email with the order, your two boxes and the information in these terms. We keep the order on record and you can view it from that email or from your account.

5. Prices, taxes and payment

Prices are in euros and are final. They include VAT and there are no shipping costs or other charges. You can pay by card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and the other methods you see on the checkout page. The charge is made when the order is confirmed. We send you the invoice by email.

  • Three effects for the price of two. For every three effects in the same order, the cheapest of them is free. It is applied automatically in the cart and cannot be combined with other discounts unless we say so.
  • Tip. On the checkout page you can leave a tip if you wish. It is voluntary and does not change anything about the service.
  • Gift cards. They are sold in amounts of 10, 20 or 50 in the currency of your store, can be used for any effect, do not expire and any remaining balance stays on the card. They cannot be exchanged for cash, except if you withdraw from the purchase within the following 14 days without having used it, and they cannot be used to buy another gift card.

6. Delivery

We start creating your video as soon as the payment is confirmed. It is usually ready within a few minutes. We send it to you by email with a link to watch and download it without needing an account, and you can also find it in My videos if you sign in with your email.

If a video is not ready within 24 hours of payment, we cancel it and refund its amount automatically, without you having to ask.

Each video is available for 48 hours from delivery to watch and download as many times as you like. After that period we delete it from our servers, so download it in time. If you ask for the free redo, the new video has its own 48 hours.

7. Checking photos and instructions

We check every photo and every instruction automatically, before payment and again before creating the video, to prevent content that is illegal or breaches Acceptable use, in particular images of minors, intimate content and impersonation. If we reject a video after payment, we do not create it, we refund its amount and we explain the reason. You can ask for a person to review the decision by writing to us. How this review works is explained in Acceptable use.

8. Automatic refunds

We refund the amount for a video without you asking if it cannot be created because of a technical fault, if it is rejected by the check after payment, if it is not ready within 24 hours or if your billing address is outside the countries where we sell (the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway and the United States). The money goes back to the same means of payment and Shopify notifies you by email. Banks usually take between 3 and 10 days to show it.

9. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you have 14 calendar days from the purchase to withdraw without giving any reason. For videos, by ticking the second box you expressly ask us to start creating it right away and you acknowledge that, as it is digital content made to your specifications, you lose the right of withdrawal when you open or download the video (article 103 a) and m) of the texto refundido de la Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios, Spain's consolidated General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users). Opening it means playing it, including in the preview with the Vidia logo. This request is included in the order confirmation email. As long as you have not opened the video, you can withdraw and we will refund the full amount.

For gift cards you have 14 days to withdraw as long as you have not used them. The full procedure and the model form are in Withdrawal and refunds.

10. Legal guarantee

We are liable for any lack of conformity of the video that exists at the time of delivery and becomes apparent within the following two years (articles 114 et seq. and 120 of the Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios). The video is in conformity if it matches the effect, length, format and quality you bought and plays correctly. If it is not, for example because it does not play, is cut off, freezes or has obvious errors that make it unusable, we create it again free of charge and, if that is not possible or we do not do so within a reasonable time, you can choose a price reduction or a refund. Write to us at help@vidiaapp.com with your order number.

11. Vidia Guarantee

In addition to the legal guarantee, and without limiting it, each video includes one free redo, which you can ask for as long as you have not downloaded it and it is still available, and the automatic refunds in section 8. When you ask for the redo, the new video replaces the previous one, which is no longer available. The full terms are in Guarantee.

12. Use of the video

  • You can use your video for personal and commercial purposes, including ads and social media, provided you respect the rights of the people, brands and works that appear in it. We assign to you any rights we may have in it.
  • We do not claim ownership of your photo or your video, we do not use them for advertising without your permission and we do not use them to train artificial intelligence models.
  • If you publish a realistic video that could be mistaken for a real recording, state that it was generated with AI. If you use it in your professional activity, this is an obligation under article 50 of the European Artificial Intelligence Act. Do not remove or hide the invisible watermark or the metadata.
  • You are responsible for having the right to use the photo you upload and for the use you make of the video. If you upload photos without the right to do so, you will be liable for any damage this causes.

13. Liability

We are liable for the service in accordance with the law. We are not liable for damage caused by your use of the video contrary to these terms or the law, or for interruptions due to causes beyond our control, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer, which these terms do not limit.

14. Customer service and complaints

You can contact us or make a complaint by email at help@vidiaapp.com, or by telephone and by post using the details shown at the end of these terms. We give you a reference number for your complaint and reply in writing as soon as possible and, in any event, within 15 days at the latest. We can help you in Spanish and in Catalan. You can also use the official complaint and claim forms (hojas oficiales de queja, reclamación y denuncia) of the Generalitat de Catalunya (the Catalan government). Ask us for them by email and we will send them to you.

We do not subscribe to any alternative dispute resolution scheme. If we do not resolve your complaint, we will tell you about a competent alternative dispute resolution body, such as the Junta Arbitral de Consumo de Cataluña (Catalan Consumer Arbitration Board) or the one in your autonomous community, and whether we will take part in the procedure. You can also go to the Agència Catalana del Consum (Catalan Consumer Agency) or the consumer services of your autonomous community.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Each order is governed by the terms in force at the time it is placed, which are the ones we send you in the confirmation.

16. Applicable law and courts

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live and you can bring a claim before the courts of your place of residence.
