Withdrawal and refunds

Your right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period ends 14 calendar days after the day the contract is concluded, that is, the day of purchase.

To exercise it, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw by an unequivocal statement, for example an email to help@vidiaapp.com or a letter to the address shown at the end of this page, stating your order number. You may use the model form at the end of this page, but it is not compulsory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send us your communication before the period has expired.

When you lose it for videos

Each video is made to order for you from your photo. When you buy, you tick a box to expressly request that we start creating it as soon as you pay, and to acknowledge that, as it is digital content made to your specifications, you lose the right of withdrawal when you open or download the video. That request and that acknowledgement are included in the order confirmation email, which we send you before we start. This is provided for in article 103, letters a) and m), of the texto refundido de la Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios (Spain's consolidated General Law for the Protection of Consumers and Users).

• As long as you have not opened or downloaded the video, you can withdraw and we will refund the full amount for that video. When you withdraw, we delete the video and its link stops working.
• When you open it from the email or from My videos, even in the preview with the Vidia logo, or when you download it, the content has been supplied and there is no longer a right of withdrawal. The legal guarantee and the Vidia Guarantee remain fully in place.

Gift cards

You can withdraw from the purchase of a gift card within 14 calendar days of the purchase, provided it has not been used. We refund its amount and cancel it.

Effects of withdrawal

We will refund all payments received from you without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 calendar days from the day you inform us of your decision. We use the same means of payment you used, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise, and you will not incur any fees. We will confirm by email that we have received your withdrawal.

Refunds without you having to ask

We automatically refund the amount for a video if it cannot be created because of a technical fault, if it is rejected by the check after payment, if it is not ready within 24 hours of payment or if your billing address is outside the countries where we sell (the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway and the United States). The money goes back to the same means of payment, and banks usually take between 3 and 10 days to show it.

If you are not happy with the video or it has a defect

As long as you have not downloaded it and it is still available, you have one free redo (Vidia Guarantee). And if the video has a lack of conformity, you have the two year legal guarantee explained in the Terms of purchase, also after you have downloaded it.
